So I was looking at Vadim’s profile and saw his wife Varvara was named for a Russian proverb: “Curious Varvara had her nose torn off at the market." And thought it was very amusing since the English version of that proverb is: “Curiosity killed the cat.”

I’ve decided to set up a shop with my own designs, in case anyone’s interested on getting merch made of simple/minimalistic manul doodles! Not in time for the holidays, unfortunately, but I hope it’ll contribute to everyone’s collections in other special occasions!

How do you think should we add English proverb as an example there? I wanted to add it but I decided not to because of the killing part of it 
If it sounds OK I’ll add it to make it clearer for native English speakers.

Oh I think it’s clear the way it is! I just found it an amusing coincidence that she was named for a Russian proverb that the English version of references cats. It’s like she’s so curious she needs to be warned in multiple languages!

I’m definitely getting a planet manul magnet to go with my Zelenogorsk magnet from the Manulization shop!
I wanted to ask about the planet manul prints though – is 10x10 the size of the print itself or the print plus frame? Trying to figure out where I might have space for them.

As for the framed prints, I believe the total size would be is 10"x10" (25.4cm) + .75” (1.9cm) frame, but I could be mistaken!

More manul merch has arrived! Along with my manul cushion Kuzkin, I now also have some stickers, a notebook and a mug, all very generously given to me for Christmas. (I think my passion for manuls is going to make it easy for my family and friends to buy me gifts from now on!)
