Wow!
Check rare photos of a manul from Opel zoo! Thank you Nils Pieperbeck!
Ого!
Посмотрите редкие фото манула из зоопарка Опель! Спасибо Нилсу Пипербеку!
Thank you so much!! I will upload some more photos of him, I really think they should give this guy a proper name
Oh, thank you! We will be waiting for your photos of him!
We really hope they will!
Thank you so much for your beautiful photos!
Have you seen the other manul in the zoo? A female one?
Thank you for the compliment and this beautiful website!! Sadly, we didn’t see La girl. I hope she is well
Thank you for your answer! I hope she is okay too

So exciting to not just have more photos of these wonderful manuls, but finally know their names!
“Batu” seems to a be a popular manul name! There’s a Batu at Prospect Park as well.
When I took the pictures yesterday their names were unknown to me, it was right after I got home I noticed you updated their page. Thank you for figuring out their names!
Haha, yes, you’re right! Looks like Batu is quite a popular manul name!
Wow, what a coincidence! That’s pure manul magic!
Thanks again for the photos — they’re amazing! By the way, have you seen Fay too?
Fay was nowhere to be seen unfortunately. Next time I will make sure to ask staff about her, usually they come out of their huts very late. I had to wait 4 hours in order to see Batu!
Oh! I know exactly how you feel! It’s especially funny (or not funny! ) when you’ve been waiting for them aaaall day, and then he comes out of his den (no — not even comes out, just peeks out!), sees you, and goes right back to sleep!
I know that in spring (May) Fay was kept off-exhibit just in case she might be pregnant.
If you get the chance, please ask the zookeepers about her! It would be wonderful to know how she’s doing. Thank you!
